On a long and windy road the pain explodes
Have you ever thought of me or fought with me
On the starving moon above a shivering dove

And living in the cage of Faraday
your life will be safe from lightning and space
Forgive the powers that you can’t comprehend

I travelled far, to see a stone
that has the shape of a throne
Others arrive at the place
emperors, conquerors and thieves
The wine they drink was bottled in France
You grind your teeth as they go on and on
to claim this mighty throne their own
and you want to be alone with your throne
